Hi! I am Kat Hosp, an interior designer in Northwest Arkansas.

I grew up in Little Rock and attended college at the University of Arkansas, Fayetteville where I received my Bachelor of Interior Design. While in college, I worked every summer and winter break, interning for some of the best designers in Little Rock including Tobi Fairley, Kevin & Susan Walsh, and Garry Mertins. My official internship was at Brion Design, a firm in Del Mar, CA where I was able learn more about the commercial side of the business.

After graduating, I got a job in Bentonville at Harrison French Architects & Engineers. Eventually, an unexpected opportunity came my way to make a career change into marketing. I went to work for a local, family owned business where I was able to wear a lot of hats, gaining experience in marketing, branding, product development, sales, retail, and even customer service.

My retail marketing experience landed me my next role as a Retail Marketing Manager at HP, inc. where I've supported the Walmart and Sam's Club business for the last 7 years.
While marketing definitely requires a designer's eye and a business mindset, I missed the world of interiors and creating beautiful and functional spaces.

Thus, Kat Hosp Interior Design was born! My vision for this business is to not only create beautiful spaces that spark joy and build connections, but to also to support the local community. At HP, I was given the opportunity to serve on the Board of EmpowHER, an organization of women that supported women and HP's goals to have more women in leadership roles. I would love to continue this work in NWA by working with local women in the design, construction, and art industries.

Today, I live in Bentonville with my husband and two little girls, ages 4 and 1.

I look forward to connecting with you!

xx Kat
